13 Oct Humility: A Leadership Virtue
Think about the great leaders and/or bosses you’ve known. What makes them a great leader? What characteristics and traits do they display that continually make you want to follow them?
In his latest “Moment of Clarity,” Charlie talks about leadership virtues and there is one leadership virtue in particular that sticks out to him when examining what makes a great leader, humility. A characteristic that often shows someone has high emotional intelligence and is self aware enough to know they don’t know everything. Being able to say something as simple “I don’t know, but I’ll find out” is often the humility in a leader that their people need. You don’t have to know everything, but being willing to learn, listen and adapt to the needs of your people will go a long way.
Tune in to hear Charlie break down this leadership virtue and give us all a chance to examine our virtues. Are you doing what it takes to be the leader you’re meant to be?
