Have you ever hired an executive or leadership coach? Have you been a coach before? Do you know the difference between coaching and mentoring?

In the world of public safety, the concept of formal leadership coaching and mentoring are still in their infancy stage. Sadly, we trail far behind the corporate world in this arena and it is time we got “Caught Up!”

In this course, we will dive into the world of executive and leadership coaching. What is coaching and how can it be done properly? How can coaching provide a true ROI (Return on Investment) for your leadership team and the organization?

As public safety leaders, it is critical that we do all we can to prepare our staff for the next step in their careers. We will discuss how to best develop your direct reports to be ready to step in when your time is up and you move on to bigger and better things. We will also dive into how to effectively give and receive critical feedback (verbally and in writing).

This course is designed as an interactive, information-packed 8 hour class. Bring your toolbox and be prepared to add a few more tools to your collection.
