In this course, we will dive into the world of executive and leadership coaching. What is coaching and how can it be done properly? How can coaching provide a true ROI (Return on Investment) for your leadership team and the organization?
As public safety leaders, it is critical that we do all we can to prepare our staff for the next step in their careers. We will discuss how to best develop your direct reports to be ready to step in when your time is up and you move on to bigger and better things. We also provide some valuable time-management tips to help make you more efficient and effective in your role as a coach and mentor.

Chief Charles Celano (Ret.)
Retired Chief Charles F Celano Jr is a 27-year veteran of the Tustin Police Department. As founder of Chief Leadership he has coached leaders from public safety organizations, private companies, as well as non-profits. He also has developed comprehensive leadership development programs and provided consulting on succession planning, strategic planning and workforce assessments.
Deputy Chief Paul Garaven (Ret.)
Retired Deputy Chief Paul Garaven is a retired veteran of law enforcement with 30 years of dedicated service. Much of Paul’s career consisted of supervising and managing personnel across a broad spectrum. Paul also served as an adjunct faculty member of the Criminal Justice Training Center at Golden West College for more than a decade.
