"Change can be scary, but you know what is scarier? Allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving, and progressing." I take this quote to heart and think about the sessions that I had with you Charlie. At first, the task of meeting you and learning new skills to be more effective in my role as a leader was just that, a task. However, it became something more. In my time with you I was able to really rethink some of the things that I have been doing with my staff.

Thanks to my time with you I feel more confident in my approach. I have learned to delegate more and have been able to re-evaluate my goals and look at things differently. Thank you for being so kind and patient with me as my thoughts are not always clear, but you understood and offered solutions.

I am grateful for the time I had with you and while it was not all you, you did play a huge role in helping me make a decision on the next phase of my life. I hope my new journey will be a good change that will benefit not only my children, but myself. Once again, thank you for your time and continued dedication to nurturing and supporting leaders so that they can become effective leaders.

First, I will preface this because I have gone through extensive leadership training throughout my life. I've been faced with significant events in life, listened to numerous instructors, taken lengthy training, and read all kinds of books on leadership concepts. I've also experienced leadership under stressful conditions and been exposed to real-life examples. This training was mandatory for certain personnel at our agency, including me, so I didn't know what to expect. But perhaps some of us can relate to the perception we have regarding the quality of training which is mandated. However, Charlie made this Leadership training excellent. As soon as we met, he was professional, explained the program's purpose, and alleviated any concerns I had. The program is designed specifically for the individual and focuses on improving and utilizing your strengths to your advantage. Charlie was an excellent guide and mentor as his life experiences contributed to the overall leadership concepts and lessons learned. Throughout my training, I constantly ran scenarios by Charlie and explained my thought process, and he was able to help guide and mold those decisions based on so much more I wasn't considering. Lastly, this training is geared more towards your overall life and legacy than being solely an effective supervisor or manager. The quality of the training was excellent. Charlie was a positive influence, a very effective instructor, and I certainly recommend others take this training.
